Country Parks Mountain Clean-up Activity 2026
In support of the "National Event on the Environment Day 2026" and to encourage public participation in keeping the country parks clean, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) invites those who are interested to participate in the country park mountain clean-up activity.

During the activity, country park volunteers will share their experience with participants, including their patrol duties and education work. |

| Remarks: | The route is about 5.4 km, including ascent and descent slope and steps. This activity requires a certain level of physical strength. Participants should apply for the activity based on their physical ability. |
Application Guidelines:
- The enrolment period is from 12:00, 8 May 2026 to 23:59, 22 May 2026.
- Applicants can reserve up to two quotas. Each email address can only be registered once for the activity.
- Participants aged below 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
- Participants should apply for activities based on their physical ability.
- If the number of applications exceeds the quota, places will be allocated by balloting.
- Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email within five working days after the application deadline. Applicants who do not receive a confirmation email will be placed on the waiting list.
- If places are available, successful applicants on the waiting list will receive a notification email at least three days before the activity. Applicants who do not receive a notification email are considered unsuccessful.
- Unsuccessful applicants will not receive any email.
- Please treasure education resources. If you are unable to attend a confirmed activity, please inform us as soon as possible by email at nature@afcd.gov.hk.
- For participants who fail to attend the activity without prior notice, their application for future activities may be affected.
Points to Note:
- Participants should wear clothing and footwear suitable for hiking; bring adequate drinking water, hiking equipment, insect repellent, sun protection and rain gear.
- AFCD will provide rubbish bags and clamps. Participants should bring their own gloves if necessary.
- Please pay attention to weather report and forecast on the event day. The event would be cancelled without further notice if the Hong Kong Observatory hoisted any tropical cyclone warning signal, or issued a rainstorm warning signal or thunderstorm warning, two hours prior to the assembly time on the event day.
- The AFCD reserves the right to cancel the activity under adverse weather conditions.
- The AFCD reserves the right to adjust the activity content and route.
- To ensure safety, participants are required to follow the arrangement and instructions of on-site staff, and should not leave the group on their own. Participants who wish to leave early should notify the on-site staff.
- Participants should bring along reusable water bottle and "Take Your Litter Home" after the activity.
